Where do we meet for the tour?

You'll receive your meetup location and full instructions after booking. Most tours depart from the Asheville Visitor Center at 36 Montford Ave, near downtown. Others launch from Brevard, at Weevil Outdoor, 367 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768. Check your confirmation carefully — the Blue Ridge Parkway, Waterfall, Off-Road Backroads and Fall Foliage tours leave from Brevard, while the City, Sunrise Mountain and Parkway & Waterfall tours leave from Asheville.

How long are the tours, and what do they cost?

Most tours run about three hours, from $59 for children and $99 for adults. The Blue Ridge Parkway & Waterfall Scenic Tour departing from Asheville is a four-hour trip, from $69 for children and $119 for adults. Exact pricing and live availability appear when you pick a date.

Is there a minimum number of people?

Can I book a private tour or a large group?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Private tours and custom events are arranged through our team — call (828) 269-3936. We handle corporate offsites, wedding parties, family reunions, church groups, brewery crawls and bachelor and bachelorette weekends, with private departure times and custom routes. Our military transports seat 11–15 each, and combined with Jeeps we can accommodate 50 or more guests.

Are tips included?

No, gratuities aren't included in the price, but our guides always appreciate them. Tipping is entirely at your discretion.

Are your tours safe for children?

Accepted Answer

Children aged 5 and up are welcome, and our tours are a favourite with families. For safety reasons we don't recommend tours for children under 5. Every vehicle has proper seating and your guide runs a short safety briefing before departure. Travelling with a mixed-age group? The City Tour is the gentlest option.

What happens if it rains?

We ride rain or shine. Our Jeeps have quick-release side windows that install in minutes, rear cabin heaters for cool mornings, and we carry ponchos on every tour. Mountain weather changes fast, and some of the best light on the Parkway comes right after a shower. If conditions become genuinely unsafe we'll contact you about rescheduling.

What should I wear?

Dress for the weather and plan in layers. The Blue Ridge Mountains are a temperate rainforest, so conditions shift quickly even in summer, and it's reliably cooler at elevation than in town. Comfortable shoes throughout; brewery tours require closed-toe shoes. For waterfall tours expect uneven, sometimes wet ground, so footwear with grip makes a real difference.

Can I bring drinks or snacks?

Yes. Some tours — the party and brewery tours in particular — allow BYOB, though open containers can never leave the tour vehicle. Snacks and water are always a good idea, especially on waterfall tours where there's hiking involved. The Sunrise Mountain Tour includes complimentary hot coffee.

Depending on the tour: overlooks and mile markers along the Blue Ridge Parkway, two to three waterfalls inside Pisgah National Forest, sunrise from a mountain overlook, downtown Asheville and its historic landmarks, or the backroads around Brevard that tour buses can't reach. Every tour is guided by a local who knows the stories behind the places.

We run premium Aventon Aventure.3 fat-tire electric bikes — 4-inch all-terrain tyres, a front suspension fork and a suspension seat post, so gravel and uneven forest roads smooth right out. The pedal-assist motor makes climbing genuinely enjoyable for riders of any experience level. Choose a 3-hour guided ride through Brevard and deep into Pisgah National Forest — beneath hardwood canopies, along the Davidson River, out to a hidden waterfall known mostly to locals — or take a half-day or full-day rental and build your own route.

Which vehicle should my group choose?

Small groups and couples usually take a safari Jeep for the intimacy and the views. Larger parties, celebrations and brewery crawls are better in a Deuce and a Half — 11 to 15 seats, sound system, LED lighting, and an arrival nobody forgets. If you'd rather be under your own power, the e-bikes cover Brevard and Pisgah at a slower, closer pace.
